Seeing the bacteria in your own mouth can change how you think about oral health. At The Fresh Breath Centre, we show you.
Under the microscope
We use an OMAX microscope to examine the bacteria found in dental plaque, also called biofilm. A small plaque sample is placed on a slide so we can capture a real image of the bacteria present in your mouth.
Suzanne will talk you through the findings, helping you understand what you are seeing and how it may be affecting your oral health and breath. Seeing the bacteria first-hand can be a powerful step towards a healthier smile and fresher breath.
What is biofilm?
Biofilm (plaque) is millions of bacteria that live and breed on surfaces in the mouth. It is one of the common causes of bad breath when it builds up on the teeth, tongue, and gums.
Why this matters for halitosis
- Understanding the bacteria behind your symptoms makes treatment personal, not guesswork.
- What we see under the microscope is linked to practical hygiene advice.
- You leave with a clear plan.
